Dear Parents and Carers

Welcome back to Term 2.

Have you noticed that the playground looks different?

We have moved our long jump pit (and sand pit outside sports times) onto the old site of the playground and we will open this in the next few days once the turf has settled. We are waiting for the shade sails to be put in place but how great will it be to have the changes underway.

Today we received the final plans for the new playground which will go in down near the basketball court. It looks fabulous. The plans are now underway to have this completed ASAP.

Catholic Schools Office is supporting us with this project and I think our children need to be congratulated on both their voice and patience with the process. 

Takes a while to plan a playground and source funding but here we are... finally. 

Next week we begin to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. Our Year 6 have been invited to Grafton to join with children from all the other feeder schools. In week 3 of this term we will be "out in the community" with each stage getting a bus to visit within the local area. Please meet us at the Lighthouse at 1pm Tuesday 9th May.
