● Professional Learning in the syllabus.
● DoE Professional Learning Micromodule Update, K-2 or 3-6 Syllabus
● Training in Dibels and/or Probe for the new evidence based assessment approaches
● Co-planning in teams to review K-2 implementation to date
● Co-planning in teams to learn about and plan for the 3-6 implementation
These will take place in Term 3 and 4. As soon as we have dates we will let all families know.
Dear Parents and Carers
A term of learning, doing and sharing draws to a close for Saint James. Thank you for all your support the initiatives which make our school a community.
ANZAC DAY March
For the families who are joining us to march we will meet opposite Stella on Yamba Hill at approximately 9am. The march will form up and we will leave at 9:30am to march to the cenotaph. If you are marching please wear school uniform and your hat as well as bring a waterbottle.
The beginning of Term 2 looks very different to usual with public holidays and a staff professional learning day. Please be aware that the school closes at 12:00pm on the Wednesday and there will not be buses running in the middle of the day.
Mrs Smith and I just looked through the accounts due and want to thank all families who have made a huge effort to action the fee acounts.
Hoping the Easter break is wonderful and refreshing and we look forward to seeing everyone in Term 2.
Regards
Ann

RE News
This week we celebrated Holy Week. Holy Week is a very sacred time of the Catholic Church year, where we commemorate and remember the last week of Jesus' life on earth. These are the days leading up to the great Easter Feast and it signals for the Lenten season to come to an end. The greatest focus of the week is the Passion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ and the events that led up to it. Students have also been learning about Holy Week in their classes.
We wish all of our families a most holy and blessed Easter season.
See below some photos of our travelling liturgy.
