Dear Parents and Carers
I have been away on camp this week with a great crew.
Thanks to the whole community for supporting us to get there.
We have published the final dates that we know of for 2024 (see above). Remembering that we said there would be a few changes when the Diocese finalise their calendar. This has now happened.
Too tired to write much more than this!
See you next week.

Getting to school by bus in 2024
Getting to school by bus in 2024
Will your child be catching the bus to school next year? Applications are now open for a Bus Travel Pass. As it’s a busy time of year, we highly recommend you make this application before the end of the year. It’s also good to check the bus timetable to make your child’s journey to school as easy as possible. Here is how it works:
Bus passes
- All students catching the bus in 2024 will need a school travel pass.
- Under the School Student Transport Scheme (SSTS), eligible students can apply for free or subsided travel between home and school.
- For more information about the School Student Transport Scheme and how to apply for a school travel pass, visit https://apps.transport.
nsw.gov.au/ssts/#/ from a desktop computer.
Bus timetables
Busways is the school bus operator that runs your schools’ bus services. To find your child’s school bus timetable visit the Busways website by using the following steps:
1. Go to busways.com.au/nsw
2. Click on ‘school services’ in the navigation bar and then proceed to ‘school timetables’
3. Enter the school’s name in the field that says ‘enter a school name’
4. Select the school’s name and the timetable should open on your device. If you are unable to find or search for the school’s name, use the drop-down menus on the same web page to find the school.
5. Once the timetable is opened, you will be able to identify which school bus services are available in your area for your child to use.

Writing
We are still working hard writing different types of poetry in Stage 2. Most recently, we have created Limericks, Colour Poems and Cinquains. Please enjoy some more of the poetry we have composed.
PE
This week in PE we have dusted off the skipping ropes and have enjoyed some independent and group skipping in Stage 2. Most of us found individual skipping quite easy and fun, however, most of us have found group skipping quite challenging. We are going to spend the last couple of weeks practising and will be learning some new tricks in no time!
Maths
In Maths we are looking at data. We have collected data by looking, asking and measuring. We have conducted experiments to observe and compare the frequency of different outcomes. We are also discussing the best ways to represent different types of data.
Here we are collecting our measurement data.
